Our Purpose
Christ-Followers from North America support the ministries of BBIC in Guatemala with one main purpose:
to reflect the love of Jesus to all!
We want to share what Christ has done
for all of us
with you!
As we serve in your country, we pray
that the words we speak and the work of our hands,
point you to Jesus Christ.
We pray that you already have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
But if you don’t – then it is our joy to share how you can have that!
God loves you and wants you to experience the peace and hope that trusting in Him provides, despite the difficult circumstances we may have during our life on earth.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.“
To receive Christ into your life:
- Admit that you are a sinner and that you need the Savior.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.“
“For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.“
- Be willing to turn from your sins, and ask God to forgive you for your sins.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.“
- Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross, was buried, and then rose from the grave.
“But God demonstrates His own love towards us,
in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.“
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross,
so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness;
by his wounds you have been healed.“
- Invite Jesus Christ to come into your heart and let Him be in charge of your life.
“Yet to all who receive him, to those who believed in his name,
He gave the right to become children of God.“
A sinner's prayer:
Dear God,
I know that I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins and want to turn away from these sins.
I ask for your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is your Son.
I believe that He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life.
I ask for Jesus to come into my heart, and with the help of the Holy Spirit to guide my life.
I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward.
In Jesus’ Name,

Your journey as a child of God is just beginning!
It is okay if you stumbled or struggled in the past. And truthfully, our walk with Christ will still have difficulties until
we see Him face to face in heaven. But through faith in Christ, we have peace, hope and assurance! Commit to
spending regular time in prayer and in reading the bible, God’s letter to us — it helps all of us grow in our faith and to learn how to reach our God-given potential.
If you aren’t familiar with the Bible, a good book to begin studying is the Book of John.
Also, find fellowship with other believers in a church that teaches and preaches the Bible.

Share your faith with your family, your friends, and your co-workers!
We all need to be transformed day by day so that we become more like Jesus and can reflect his love to others.
